About Us

  I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Texas State University and a Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling from Texas State University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice in the New Braunfels, Texas area since 2018. I have completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and actively use Gottman Method Couples Therapy in my counseling work with couples. 

I am passionate about helping people carefully and authentically consider their relationship before deciding to end it. In my work, I often notice that couples on the brink of divorce got to that point because their small daily habits in how they treat each other and handle disagreements. I also love working with couples who just want to strengthen their relationship and communication skills. It’s important to me to be able to provide research-based information and tools to couples before their patterns become destructive and toxic so that they can instead grow together and maintain their commitment to each other in healthy ways.

I have a Bachelor’s of science in Psychology from Texas State University and a Masters of Art from Pepperdine University in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy. I have been licensed since 2018 and have spent much of my time in private practice. I love to work with couples and families, as I approach each client from a systemic perspective. Systems work has been a huge part of my practice since the beginning, it tells me why we do the things we do and how to go about making lasting changes. 

I was introduced to Gottman style therapy a few years ago, and decided to complete the first 2 levels of the Gottman Method Couples Therapy training. Since then, I use Gottman methods on a daily basis to help couples, families, and individuals make lasting changes in their relationships.
